Cakes By Katy

Had Katy for my Wedding Cake and Dessert Table recently, in May 2025. I cannot recommend Katy enough. From start to finish she was sensational. Transparent with costs early on and as I booked over a year in advance she was open about the communication expectations. She was easy to contact and really responsive. Closer to the date we sat down together in her studio and went through everything we wanted. She recommended styles and flavours and was never pushy or trying to upsell. She wanted us to have what we wanted, not what would get her the most money. When it came to design she worked with me for my vision, and I was happy to go with her expertise in flavours and what would work. In the end we got married on one of the hottest days of the year so far and Katy was quick to let us know of some changes that would be better with the weather, which was greatly appreciated, as the last thing anyone would want would be a melting cake. On the day Katy came and set everything up herself, making sure everything was perfect. And boy was it! Multiple people, including myself and new husband said it was the best wedding cake they’d ever tasted. The Macarons were perfection and the millionaire short bread was out of this world!! I will be recommending Katy to everyone for celebration cakes! Thanks so much for everthing!! Xx

Thank you so much to Katy. She is Amazing at what she does, the cake was better than what we had hoped for and tasted delicious as the tasters were. Katy checked in a few times leading to the day which was Great. We can't thank her enough for creating such a Beautiful cake for our wedding.

Katy made our wedding cake and I honestly don't even know where to begin with this review. The cake looked absolutely outstanding, the bottom tier was decorated to look like a log and our guests couldn't believe it was actually cake. We chose four different flavours and each one tasted incredible (I think my favourite was the carrot and pecan, but it's a tough choice to make). Katy kept us updated with the baking and decorating progress in the days before so we never felt worried. I can't recommend Katy enough, you can just tell how much love and care goes into her baking.

Ordered a 40th birthday cake close to Christmas. Fantastic cake and service will differently use again the whole family gave the cake thumbs up!

I messaged Katy at the end of last year asking her if she would make my husbands 30th birthday cake. I had lots of ideas but very little knowledge to what actually goes into making a cake and needed some advice and help. She was able to put me at ease and explain the whole process, what she could make for my budget as well as inputting some great ideas herself. From the start to finish katy was fantastic at communication with me throughout and the end result was brilliant. Not only did the cake look awesome but the taste was out of this world. We didn't leave the birthday celebrations with any left overs and I had one happy hubby. Highly recommend cakes by katy! 🙂 (P.S try the biscoff cake.... so LUSH)

We had a gorgeous cake from Katy, so beautifully decorated and super tasty.
