Shoreditch White

My daughter needed the loo so I gingerly asked the owner(?) if we could go. So happy that he agreed. The little one wanted a banana on the way out so I got a coffee. Delicious! And the staff were really friendly. If you are a local, this is exactly the type of business you need in your area, for a visitor like me… a hidden gem I reckon

7 Retired Riders and 2 wives booked for breakfast. A table was all set up for us and we were warmly welcomed. The atmosphere was buzzing as we sat down and started ordering. As you can imagine there was a variety of orders. The service was excellent and all the food arrived within a short time and together. The variety and quality of the food was excellent. The cost was very reasonable compared to many places we visit around the area. Excellent all round and definitely worth a return visit.

Shoreditch White catered our NHS staff Christmas party and quiz at the end of 2025, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, generous in quantity, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. We were especially grateful for how seamlessly they accommodated a wide range of dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble, and every member of staff felt included and well‑catered for. Their pricing was also a pleasant surprise. Despite providing such a sumptuous spread, they offered a rate better than any competitor in Taunton, without compromising on quality. A huge thank you to the Shoreditch White team for helping make our event such a success. We wouldn’t hesitate to book them again!

What a little gem off the high street to escape the winter weather. Excellent coffee, and delicious food well presented and portioned. The mulled apple juice is inspired and perfect to warm the mind and soul.

Coffee was okay, ordered a caramel latte. Have serious doubts weather any caramel was actually in it. Also was served in a cappuccino mug which is just poor presentation. Service was quite poor. What do you want. Brought it down. Nothing else. You’d expect some level of customer service at an independent coffee shop. Lovely cafe tho very nice inside. The staff member seemed shocked when we didn’t leave a tip, however I don’t know what they expect when their service is nothing more than just taking and order and bringing the food. Would have expected an "enjoy" or something along those lines.

Lovely place with the best coffee I've had in Taunton. I also enjoyed sausage roll ploughman's which again, was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

A really lovely lunch. Ordered the shakshuka which came with lots of lovely fresh bread and butter. Only comment is the eggs were poached and put on top of the sauce. A shakshuka should be with the eggs baked into the sauce. Delish nonetheless 👌
