Spud-Shack

Wow, just wow! Spud-Shack has completely redefined the humble jacket potato for me. I had the jackfruit curry, and it was an absolute flavour bomb, rich, hearty, and packed with just the right balance of spice. The potato itself was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, exactly how a proper jacket should be. The fact that this dish was 100% vegan was the icing on the cake (or should I say, the perfect topping on the potato!). If you’re in Taunton and craving a proper comfort meal done right, Spud-Shack is the place to go. Hands down, best jacket potato in town!

Amazing value and portion size. We visited today and regret not trying this before. We genuinely cant believe we've walked past so many times and only just tried it. The pork and apple, and the beef chilli were epic and filled us up until later in the evening. There aren't many places you can get lunch for £7 a head, and leave full up. 10/10. The chap serving was sound too.

Stopped to get some spuds and a bacon roll with my daughters. Lovely service with a smile, great portions and the tuna mayo was thick and creamy.

No value for money for £6! Tiny jacket. (Really good taste though)

Very nice spud, had the beef chilli and really enjoyed it, will definitely be coming back, good service and good taste. Highly recommend
