Ray Mekhi's Oxford

Highly recommend these guys. Always friendly, reasonably priced and after trying a few different burgers and loaded fries now, they’re all really good. The perfect choice for a cheeky takeaway 😊

I was lucky enough to be working nearby where Josh was based for a weekend. I neglected to take a photo, so let me paint a picture with words. Classic cheese: a smashed patty, perfectly done, smothered in a cheese sauce and an original creation sauce, slightly sweet, rich and yet light in taste. Served in brioche bun, the top slightly misaligned to give a better first impression of the contents. It looked like it could be sloppy, but the sauces clung to the patty perfectly. Exceptional burger. The Ray: the signature burger had the same perfectly done smash patty and bun at the jaunty angle, this time with crisp, thick bacon infused with a sweet, red onion sauce. Did end up a little messy, but that's for the sheer amount of curled bacon, every bite a treat for the senses. There's a clear passion here for quality burgers, I'll be keeping an eye out for them in the future. Don't miss out. The loaded fries look good too.

Honestly, no one does it better than Ray Mekhi’s Oxford. Food is always on point, service is top-tier, and ordering ahead makes life easy. My girlfriend and I grab burgers and share the truffle fries every time — perfection.

Absolutely fantastic food really and great service. The burger was a genuine top quality burger, the bacon and onions cooked to perfection and such a great balance of flavous can tell real care is taken into making the food. 10/10 and so glad to find some really top quality food in the area. Cant wait to have it again. Sorry no photos I couldn't wait to eat it 😅
