The New Chimneys

Visited a month ago now and had a fantastic meal. The places itself is lovely and the service from a young lady we had was superb. The food was fantastic and the portions very good for the price. Have recommended to others and will be back!

Richard was a most congenial host and was expecting us along with our pooch. We had had a most unfortunate experience at Christmas at a DIFFERENT pub in the same chain, so we were offered a meal at the New Chimneys to compensate. Our reserved table was in a perfect spot. The service was excellent… enough time to choose & chat, not too long to wonder when the next course would appear. The menu is comprehensive but we selected the Easter 🐣 Day special and were not disappointed! Delicious food… although my stomach said I shouldn’t have had dessert.. Crème egg sundae… how could I not?? We were even presented with two Christmas crackers! Lovely touch. Lovely day. Thank you.

Good Morning Team We would just like to thank your team for Saturday evening. The whole family had a fantastic evening celebrating hubby’s 65th birthday. The bar staff tho busy didn’t make any of us wait too long and the young waitress who served our table of 16 all evening deserves the highest praise possible, she worked all evening, serving us with a smile and she was so happy and helpful. She is certainly a great asset to your pub, please pass on our thanks to her. She will make us book again with you as everything went like clockwork. Thanks again 😃

5* all round. We’ve been coming here for years and the service is always outstanding and welcoming. The atmosphere is fab, drinks are reasonably prices and the food is great, sea bass and pie shown in the picture. Banging.

What a great local pub! Really family friendly with a lovely atmosphere, and the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The new menu is absolutely amazing — loads of choice and every dish we tried was spot on. Definitely recommend!
