Coila Ceilidh Band

We hired Coila Ceilidh band for our 25th wedding anniversary party. They had the dance floor full every time. Easy communication from the start, a great band, fantastic performance and very professional and flexible. We were only looking for a 2piece line up of fiddle/caller & accordion for three hours. Very good value for money. Would highly recommend and we will definitely use them again if needed in the future. Thanks a million!

Coila were absolutely fantastic during our wedding. They were extremely communicative throughout the evening to ensure that we were happy with the ceilidh dances and any potential changes of pace. Coila Ceilidh band played our Waverley Care Rainbow Ceilidh on Sat 14 June at the National Piping Centre. Alistair and Willie were a joy to work with from start to finish - really easy-going and co-operative! They are also a brilliant band and we had a full dance floor all night. This is absolutely down to the fact that they were both engaging and full of joyous energy! I'd love to work with them again.

Coila provided the ceilidh for our wedding (summer 2023), and were fantastic. Alistair and the rest of the band were very helpful in advance of the big day, and flexible to our needs. Everything was very straightforward to plan and agree. We took advantage of their excellent ceilidh set, alongside a DJ set. In both cases, they did a great job and the guests all had a great time. We enjoyed meeting the band; they are a great bunch of guys and we recommend them highly to anyone looking for a top class ceilidh for their special events. I booked Coila for wedding this May (2024). The band were amazing in keeping the floor full! The caller was great for the newbies and the band was complimented by my highlander relatives! My husband and I had a great time dancing with our friends and family. The communication from the band was so prompt and straightforward. Thanks again!

I was recommended Coila by a friend to play at my Wedding for ceilidh music / DJ music service and I am grateful I was. The communication prior to the event was easy and prompt and the Band were more than willing to answer / suggest and help with anything regarding playing. They were very accommodating at my Wedding also - set up discreetly, were very relaxed and even were happy to play an impromptu couple of tunes with my dad who is a piper. The music itself was fantastic, they called the dances and everyone had a great time - which is a testament to their skill and had a great mix of DJ songs for the Disco after the dancing. I highly recommend Coila, great people and great music.
