The Feathers Inn

Found this little treasure yesterday while looking for food on the map. What a great place to find. We entered the garden which was lovely a large for our party of 6 people. I went into the bar area and was greeted by the lovely Mazie behind the bar area. She was very welcoming indeed. She explained for us to order by a certain time as the kitchen was closing. We had the Sunday carvery which was delicious and also Very large portions indeed. There was a large selection of beers and ciders. We will most definitely be returning at a later date. Thank you Mazie for making us feel very welcome. 5 stars 🌟

We visited early on s Saturday. But will go back when entertainment is on as the set up looks great 👍

Great pub and great entertainment. We had Fish & Chips and Steak & Guinness Pie, mash and peas, which were divine. The entertainment (Ant Hill Mob) came on at 9 pm and did not finish till 12 midnight: They were absolutely fantastic !! All the while, the bar staff worked tirelessly and were very polite. Memorabilia was plastered all over the pub, which made interesting viewing

Hi I perform here regularly with the house band and help host on Tuesdays. Many years ago I used to go to the jam night at the Grapes Stafford and was gutted when it stopped. Never thought I'd see that kind of atmosphere or setup ever again..... Until I found the Feathers! If you want a top night out with food, drink, banter and incredible bands....look no further. Mike and Trace make you feel part of the family, and even the band! We have some incredible times on that famous stage and it must be seen and heard to be believed! Amateur or pro, all levels of singer and musician have joined us on stage and returned for more fun week after week. It's a major fixture in my diary now and Mike and T really helped me emerging from covid when I was literally on my own in life. Try it. Come down. Book a table. Enjoy these incredible moments of live music and food/drink rolled into one! You can check out anytime you like.... but you can never leave!

I hadn't visited The Feathers since about 1991 but on Sunday they had a charity live music festival. Great atmosphere, good service and friendly staff. It is set apart by its excellent set up for live music. We went to support our pal in With or Without U2. The first band on. We didn't get to try the food but I am sure we will be back to put that right soon.

Very friendly welcoming staff, the food is lovely and plenty of choice. We visited to see Ska Train and thoroughly enjoyed the whole night. We will definitely be back soon

Excellent Pub - excellent food. We had 2 Sunday lunches, 3 drinks and a dessert - a great sample size. Portions were generous, food was very good and the service was great too. Great setting and we will be back!
