Waterside Inn

All in all a nice pub to visit. The wait times are long. Day 1 was 40min and day 2 was about 75min. But, we were warned wait times could be 60min. It's clearly a busy and popular place, which is nice. Food is reasonably priced. The first time we came, the meals were served differently, which surprised us. But, the second time, the same meals actually tasted better! Especially the chicken skewers - less overdone and instead nice and juicy. We'd come back. Excellent prices and very friendly and kind staff. New blondish waiter was lovely too - very considerate.

We have eaten here all week and everyday we receive excellent service. We have enjoyed the food and all the staff check on us making sure we are happy with everything.

Food was lovely and tastey once it arrived but I waited over an hour for my main course. Even my drink took 15 minutes to arrive. Service when it finally happened was friendly but the wait wasn't explained. Such a shame as if it had been quicker I'd have given it a better rating. Decor a little dated but nothing terrible. Parking on site but make sure you put your reg in the tablet on the bar.

Food outstanding, I loved the music and atmosphere of the pub. Staff were lovely, especially Rob and helped me find my reserved table. The food tasted amazing and was great value for money. All around a really amazing place.

Staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to serve the clients. The atmosphere is good and the best is to book a table in advance. They were busy and food was taking approximately 1hour. To their credit, it is holiday season 👏. When the food came out I loved the slow-cooked steak and the mac-n-cheese. I would have loved to try their burger but I was full. Bucket list for next time.

Excellent food good service and dog friendly which is a must for our family. Also have a dog menu.

Very large inside so plenty of availability for food or just drinks. We came in while the Arsenal City game was on but found a table easy. We ordered via the app which was easy and pain free. Not the biggest menu but plenty enough choice. I had the Korean bbq rib, which while okay, I wouldn’t order again. It was cooked well and was nice enough but other than a small amount of Korean bbq sauce on top, which wasn’t enough to cover the whole rib, they was nothing overly Korean or special about it. Just a basic beef rib. The child meal was a good surprise a good portion for what you pay. Food was out quickly and staff were all polite. If you’re after a quick meal on the way back after a day it, it’s well worth stopping for.
