The Mill

A large group of us recently attended the Mill for a private dining experience, we went for the Sunday lunch menu and we were not disappointed. The venue itself is beautifully decorated, clean, with gorgeous views of the local countryside. The food was delicious, one of the best roasts we’ve had out in a long time, very generous portions. You could tell all the produce was top quality. The staff are so lovely and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning. Well done The Mill 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Spent 5minutes trying to get into the hotel as its not staffed and communications never reached me on the electronic entry. The hotel, well its not a hotel, its an air BnB was really clean and well presented. There is a bar but no staff to run it. All restaurants are a good drive away. Room was like a shoe cupboard. I spend 3 weeks of a month travelling around Europe, so im no rookie. My room was next to a emergency exit, so it was illuminated by the light all night. Room was so hot I couldn't sleep. And although I dont pay for my stays, my company does. The price per night is WILD. There are no staff on site. There is no bar. There is no room service. There is no restaurant. And 114 pound a night for a sweaty shoe box is ludicrous. Last week I was in a Marriot in Switzerland which was only an extra 20pound a night and this is one of the most expensive places in the world!

Just popped down to the Mill for a cheeky drink to see what it’s like since it’s been refurbished. What a lovely surprise. Had a wonderful couple of hours. The staff were so so friendly and welcoming. The venue has been refurbished so nice, it’s stunning. The location is great, right next to the river. Looking forward to the cheese and wine event. Excellent job to Dan and the team.

What an amazing place, the attention to detail shone through! The rooms have a luxurious feel & have been decorated beautifully. The view is exceptional & feels extremely relaxed. Dan provided an incredible service making us feel welcome & at home. I cannot recommend this hotel enough & will definitely be booking again, in the near future.

Have been to various events since The Mill re-opened under new ownership about 6 months ago now and can honestly say it’s ticking every box for me. Service is excellent and the venue itself is just stunning! I attended a private event this weekend for a birthday and the roast was just perfection. Will definitely be using this for all family gatherings going forward as I loved the way the kids all had space to play games and run around outside.
