Tofte Manor stands as a stunning venue in Bedford, offering an atmosphere of harmony and artistic energy. It provides an excellent backdrop for large-scale musical events and weddings, characterized by a warm, welcoming reception and a sense of spiritual beauty that resonates with every guest.

While the impressive grounds provide a memorable experience, the facility faces logistical challenges regarding parking management and traffic flow. Enhancements to the exit systems and expanded shaded areas would further refine the overall guest experience at this unique location.

For Sasha & Digweed in July 2025. A very special event in a beautiful venue. A nostalgic musical journey. Busy, but didn't feel overcrowded with everyone enjoying the music respectfully. Plenty of water provided and decent catering options. To be honest, the second stage felt redundant and, with the blazing sun, a real sheltered area to chill out and cool down would have been appreciated. Heads up that the eponymous labyrinth is more of a spiritual journey and you may not really connect with just the path.

Went they’re tonight for the kooks and it was amazing, they do need to work on a better parking and exit system that’s the only draw back

Saw the kooks, an amazing concert great warm up acts lovely venue, u fortunately a total lack of security meant we witnessed a fight break out quite badly during the kooks set, it happens. The only real downside was the car park and leaving the car park taking nearly 2 hours, terribly organised people in high viz standing doing nothing to help organise cars or traffic. The venue it’s self is amazing but the exit to get to the car park was so busy it felt dangerous both walking and driving

I’ve just returned from a relaxing and recharging 3 day break at Tofte Manor, and I can honestly say there is no other place quite like it. This was my second visit, and it was even more powerful and transformative than the first. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped by the incredible energy of the place. There’s a serenity here that you don’t just feel on the surface, it resonates at a much deeper level. You can sense it in the trees, the land, the birdsong, and the sacred stillness that fills the grounds. I stayed in The Sanctuary, a stunning and peaceful space that truly lives up to its name. Waking up and being able to step directly outside to walk the Star Labyrinth each morning for my early meditation was one of the most beautiful parts of my stay. The labyrinths, both the Star and the Earth, are unique features of Tofte Manor and offer an extraordinary and deeply connective experience. Although I had brought books of my own, I never even opened them, the Sanctuary was filled with such a wonderful selection of interesting books. The space itself is impeccably cared for and holds a deeply calming energy that makes it effortless to simply be. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need, but I didn’t do any cooking on this visit because my food was lovingly prepared by Chef Melissa, and what an absolute gift that was. Every single meal she created was vegan and gluten free, tailored specifically to my tastes after some lovely conversations we had before my arrival. The flavours were phenomenal, and the energy she infuses into her cooking is amazing. Melissa is truly a beautiful soul. As a personal and thoughtful touch, she even made my favourite dessert, egg custard tart. It was scrummy! Tofte Manor’s grounds are expansive and exquisitely maintained, with countless quiet nooks and spots to sit or lie down, surrounded by birdsong and the gentle sounds of wind chimes. Whether you want stillness, reflection, or simply a place to breathe, this environment provides it in abundance. During my stay, I also experienced two powerful treatments: • Energetic Alignment Massage with Sarah-Jayne – This was nothing short of extraordinary. She has an intuitive gift, gently finding deep-seated pain and energetic blocks that I hadn’t even been aware of. The release I felt both during the session and afterwards was incredible. • Aroma and Sound Session with Lisa – Another deeply moving experience. The beautiful tones of the crystal bowls, paired with carefully and intuitively chosen essential oils, created a multi-sensory journey that left me feeling light, centered, and completely at peace. Lisa holds space with such grace and care. Throughout it all, Suzy and her wonderful team were warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Their presence adds so much to the magic of Tofte Manor, it’s clear that this is a place created and held with love and intention. In short, Tofte Manor is not just a retreat, it’s a sanctuary for the soul. Every element, from the land and the labyrinths to the people, the food, and the healing treatments, works in harmony to offer something truly special. I left feeling reconnected, nourished, and aligned in a way that’s hard to describe but easy to feel. If you’re looking for a place to reset, recharge, and reconnect with yourself, don’t hesitate, book your stay at Tofte Manor. I’m already planning my third visit.
