Secret Space Digbeth
📍 Wedding venues in Birmingham
Secret Space Digbeth offers a raw, industrial atmosphere suitable for events seeking a distinctive aesthetic. The venue provides a large footprint for gatherings, though the interior layout and ceiling fixtures may present logistical challenges for some guests. It serves as a functional space for trade fairs and large-scale community events.
Prospective clients should consider the limited ventilation and parking complexities in the Digbeth area. While the facility maintains basic amenities, the overall experience is defined by its utilitarian character and industrial surroundings.

Customer Reviews
Secret Space Digbeth has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 213 reviews on Google
Absolutely disgusting venue, the owner had no experience or background in events and frmands deposits which he doesnt return. If you complain about the venue then you lose deposits too. No pest control whatsoever. These photos were taken mid event.
Good place for a fighting venue. Really over priced for drinks £9 for 2 soft drinks poored from a bottle which costs £2.50. street parking is a D1 permit before 6pm.
Black mold and severe water damage everywhere. My Asthma is not happy. It's actually given me really bad Asthma & chest issues. Thanks. Post their response. I have below added pictures of some of the Black Mold one section of the severe water damage. The fact that you just outright lied to me in an effort to gaslight is crazy to me. You walk into the main hall and the damp mouldy air hits you in the face. Ive had a chest infection all last week and this week. I've been really unwell. Also the fact that over 10+ people that day fully complained about the venue to organisers is crazy that you haven't received anything. Well as they say, pictures speak a thousand words. 👍
great space for the plant fair
Attended a concert at this location. Looked rather disappointing from the outside- like an old abandoned building. The inside was not exciting either. Feels like they've gone just enough for it to be open but no more. Positive- toilet was clean when I used it but got in quite early so don't know if that was the reason. Positive- there's a nice mural on the opposite building 😄
Eventually found the place after struggling to find somewhere to park in Digbeth. The whole place is a mess with the road works and road closures. Only to discover that the lamp post has the details to pay for parking. You have to call a number and go through the automated questions to pay. What a parlava! I thought he layout wasn't that good, especially the ones in the ceiling. Had to crank my head upwards to long to look at them. The lady speaking on the microphone they give you talks for a long time. The toilets are unisex, as I thought they would be, but no locks on the doors. Myself and my partner were not well on the day. I check the terms and conditions, as they said no refund, but could move our booking to another day if there are places available. So I emailed, got an email back 24 hours after my booking stating they do not give refunds or exchange days! I think someone needs to review the terms and conditions! Not impressed. Think I will organise a trip to Florence to look at the real thing. I was there years ago and missed out due to timing.
This is more a critique of the event rather than the venue but if you're going to pack literally thousands of people into this space in the middle of July when temperatures are exceeding 30° you might want to ensure better ventilation. I attended the Craft Brew Festival on Saturday 12th July. The organisers had obviously prioritised profit over attendee experience. There was plenty of seating but space around the bars was sacrificed making it more difficult to move around. People like to hang out around the bars at these types of events but there just wasn't the space. The only respite from the sweltering indoor temperatures was a tiny outdoor area by the portable toilets.
