The Bond

We’ve had the pleasure of catering at The Bond in Digbeth, Birmingham as part of The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza, and it’s a fantastic venue for weddings and events. Set alongside the canal in the heart of Digbeth, the venue has a really unique, creative feel with plenty of character. It’s perfect for couples looking for something a bit different from a traditional wedding venue. The space works really well for larger events and wedding fairs, with a great atmosphere throughout and plenty of flexibility for different setups. It was always a pleasure to be part of The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza there, which was a brilliant event showcasing some great local suppliers. A fantastic Birmingham venue and one we’d be more than happy to return to in the future.

My sister and I went to a free from event at The Bond and we enjoyed it. The venue is. Perfect space as it had a bit of outdoor space, some indoor space and an area for the talks. The only downside were the queues made it difficult to get to the corners.

Went here for the free from festival. Was nice! Happy to finaly eat gr donuts from the borough. There are 2 areas with toilets. Out doors is nice by the cannal and they have a lil water feature in the middle of the plaza.

We had our Wedding at The Bond and it was magnificent. Such a cool, bohemian venue. Absolutely fantastic for cool pics with the decor and the local graffiti. Staff so helpful, food delicious, this Stressed Groom felt very looked after both before and during the day. Top notch.

Having known The Bond for its seasonal festivals we knew we wanted our wedding ceremony and reception there. It truly is a stunning venue, particularly on a barmy sunny spring day like we were lucky enough to have. The venue allowed us to combine our theme of disco but a relaxed setting with the beautiful courtyard outside and the cool and modern interior inside. All of our guests commented on how amazing it was. From the moment we booked the venue communication with the team was brilliant and they were so helpful from the outset. We were in the amazing hands of Naomi who supported us throughout and was exceptional. Every inch of the planning, detail, communication and everything was thought of. She was there to help with the setting up the day before too which really helped us and put us as ease. Additionally, as there was a wedding the next day all of our stuff was gathered up and ready for us to collect the next day. The day itself ran like clockwork due to Naomi’s incredible hard work. She didn’t stop all day and the service from her and all the staff was impeccable. We chose the Thai menu - the food was absolutely amazing and the chef was so accommodating with our different requests for the day. We have also had so many comments from our guests on the high quality of the food. We really had the most wonderful day and was above and beyond our expectations! Thankyou so much! Sophia & Phil
