The Priory Huntingdon

I had my husband’s surprise birthday party at The Priory this weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. The owners and the entire team were brilliant from start to finish, from the planning to the execution, they were on hand to support all the way. Excellent food that everyone raved about. The function room upstairs is a great space, and was perfect for the party.

We attended a History and Ghost event. It was brilliant. The Priory is a beautiful building, haunted as well. It has an Indian restaurant inside which we have gone to previously and the food was great. Limited parking which is not good especially when you are hosting a sell out event in the same location as a restaurant on a Friday night. We struggled to find a parking space as be travelled from Peterborough so bus or taxi not really an option due to cost. Overall great, just arrive early for car park.

Held my 40th birthday bash here this weekend and had a blast . Zara gave advice on the number of tables needed and placement for food which worked amazing. Was able to gain access the night before to decorate the room which in itself is gorgeous and fitted perfectly with my theme and collect decorations and other items the morning after . They accommodated my request for doing food in 2 rounds as well and they do the clearing up (this is very much appreciated)! I can only apologise for the mess and praise them on making my night amazing . The cost of hire for the hours we could have there was brilliant I would absolutely hire this venue again . The only negative feedback we got from guests was the room was too hot maybe a fan or 2 would have kept guests in the room and not the carpark and the lemonade £3 a glass for cheap barr lemonade . All in all I would definitely use the function room , Zara and the team at the priory again for any events I plan to hold if they would have me back . Value for money and time they help where needed and give your event all it needs . Will be recommending to others .
