Wentbridge House Hotel

We booked this as a last-minute stop just off the A1. Just for context we had a tired baby and toddler both having meltdown. To say that we were blown away is an understatement. The service that we received at this hotel has probably been one of the best we have ever had. Simple nice touches everywhere. The staff could not have been friendlier or nicer. I cannot think of anything they could not have done differently. Our toddler was having a meltdown and a staff member went out the way to go and get a teddy bear and gift it to her. We were also in a hurry to eat and so the service was so prompt and the food was so delicious! The grounds itself are very relaxing and so well maintained that it just felt like a holiday at the moment we stepped out the car which wasn’t what we were there for in the first place. My only slight reservation was that I shower flooded slightly, but we raised this with staff…. And that’s the only thing that I can think was a slight minor point if I had to pick something. The rooms themselves are very spacious and the bed was just incredibly comfortable. Even the ground staff were so friendly. I would 100% recommend staying here and we wish we could’ve stayed for longer. Thank you to the staff once again for going above and beyond.

This hotel was very beautiful and accommodating. Went for a friend's wedding and I can not express how lovely the breakfasts, the wedding food and general selection was. The one issue is the connection so I couldn't make any phone calls in order to find people at all times but that is such a minor issue. The rooms though - OH MY GOSH We loved the air-conditioning during the heatwave and our daughter loved the cot that was provided. We had all an amazing sleep but I am obsessed with the pillows. I need to know where they are from because they are the most comfortable pillows I've ever used. This is an amazing hotel with amazing staff, amazing food and beautiful location. Thank you for having us!

The location is phenomenal. This old manor house has been elegantly extended to accommodate more rooms but it's all in keeping. The grounds are stunning. You can see why so many get married here. The staff are lovely too. The food in the restaurant is good. But only good. For the price I would have expected perfection but it's not quite there. But everything else is supeb.
