Portsmouth Register Office

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Portsmouth Registry Office and it really is a lovely spot for a ceremony. The staff are warm and welcoming, the ceremony room itself is charming, and the gardens just outside are perfect for confetti and family photos straight afterwards. It has this lovely relaxed atmosphere that puts couples completely at ease, and the combination of the historic surroundings and the gardens makes for some really beautiful images. A brilliant choice for anyone wanting a relaxed, intimate and genuinely lovely wedding ceremony in Portsmouth!

Had the most amazing day yesterday. Very intimate ceremony with just 7 of us. So emotional. Both registrars were so welcoming, and friendly and reassuring. Beautiful gardens for photographs. Lovely day had by all. Thank you

Beautifully decorated rooms for the ceremonies and the gardens although the grass was rather bleached by the sun, were lovely for the photographs of the wedding couple.

Had my wedding here on the 24/5 absolutely wonderful day registrars were very kind and great at explaining what was going to happen All went perfectly

Office is closed on Sunday so the car park at the rear is available to the general public as a pay park. Plenty of room.

It was such special day for me but due to administration it was ruined. One thing that they had to do is to put the date right she couldn’t do it. I was supposed to happy they completely ruined my special day. How can you put the wrong date ? In the end asking to send the certificate back to home office which can take up to 6 months. I am very disappointed.
