Being a expat of Sheffield I've always wanted to visit this place. Throughly enjoyed the tour given by our very informative guide. I'm fascinated by tudor history and the visit was everything I needed to boost my knowledge of this era. Thank you to our tour guide.

Loved it. Very twasonable price gor tea and hot dogs. Lots going on, archery, demonstrations, castle very interesting

What a great place, lived in Sheffield 54 years and never been. Only need a couple of hours but learned a lot from the information boards and the young girl in period costume.

My wife and I got married here and the venue is absolutely incredible! Stunning wild flowerscin summer, historic ruins included in the backdrop. Fire pit on an evening. Perfect for us!

Myself and my mum went there 18/6/23 on sunday (yes fathers day) as part of her richard the 3rd group 🚌 bus trip! .... I found it to be an absolute gem of a place.... lovely beautiful gardens wonderful old ruins of the original house....n nice to go inside the turret house. May i add the turret house you can only go up as far as the second floor.....the 3rd floor is outta bounds due to unsafe conditions etc. Plus u can also organise a guided tour n learn the history of the place. Also at a viewpoint there you can see spectacular views of sheffield.🤓 Plus nextdoor is a very nice pub for a drink or two! 🍻🍺😉👍

Absolutely brilliant! It's just a nice way to spend a couple of hours learning about where we live, on certain days there's kids activities, dressing up in the lodge, you can get a guided tour, lovely flowers depending on season, lovely staff and a few nice spots for a picnic, you can walk further down to the little farm and a lovely cafe or walk onto Norfolk Park and into town, we really enjoyed our afternoon.
