The Hide

We got married at The Hide at the beginning of June and had the best day. From our first visit right through to the wedding itself, Nicola, Andy, Jon and the team were great to deal with. They were really laid-back, helpful and responsive throughout, which made the whole process feel easy and stress free. It was a refreshing change from some of the other venues we visited that felt a bit more focused on the sales pitch. The food was incredible and we've had loads of compliments from our guests about it since. The venue itself is such a great space and was exactly what we were looking for. We hosted our wedding at The Hide September 2025. Nicola, Jon, Andy & the whole team were phenomenal. All of our guests had such an amazing time! The team really looked after us so brilliantly. The service was impeccable, and somehow kept us on track to our running order... Everything just seemed completely smooth and under control, which meant that we could just relax and enjoy our day. Our guests loved the cocktail bar, and service at the van bar was quick and efficient. Nobody had to wait around to be served - everything was just taken care of. Wine replenished on the tables, cake brought out in the evening. It was seamless. The food was INCREDIBLE. I've had numerous guests tell me that it was the best wedding food that they'd ever had. Plentiful and delicious. We were so impressed. Most importantly - they're really lovely people to deal with. We really wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Hide

The Hide were amazing from start to finish. We booked a party for my husband’s 40th and from making the enquiry to delivering on the night, their service was excellent. Nicola communicated absolutely everything, there was no question she couldn’t answer and she had a lot of patience for my slow replies with a newborn! We used their sound system with our playlist and it was all set up to easily plug in our iPad and charge it. We ordered pizzas for our guests, which were absolutely delicious and went down a treat! The staff members on the night even went above and beyond- from Laura taking a big group photo to the door staff carrying out our belongings to the car at the end of the night! There was no overselling/pushing to buy things we didn’t need and I just felt the whole experience was easy and we had a wonderful time. Thank you so much- would highly recommend this place.

We had our wedding evening party at the Hide and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Throughout the planning stage, the team made every effort to thoroughly understand our requirements. The venue staff made everyone feel right at home and went the extra mile to make it an unforgettable party. We can’t thank the Hide enough and fully recommend it for a party of any occasion. 😊

We hosted our wedding party at The Hide just a couple of weeks ago and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding. From booking and all throughout the planning process, Nicola and Jon were so helpful, accommodating and genuinely invested in making our day the best that it could be. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and this made the entire planning process feel stress free and enjoyable. The venue looked stunning on the day, stylish, unique and peppered with beautiful and thoughtful details. The venue matched our style completely and it felt like the atmosphere we had hoped to create for our wedding. Our guests all commented on how incredible the venue looked, but also on the positive and happy atmosphere throughout the entire day. There was such a relaxed a welcoming vibe from the start, which made the whole celebration feel so special. The evening party was excellent - such a fun atmosphere and the perfect way to end the day. Everyone had an amazing time and we so wish that we could do it all over again. The food was amazing, thanks to Andy and the catering team. We chose the pie option and it did not disappoint. The canapés were also delicious and plenty to go around which our guests thoroughly appreciated! What really made the experience unforgettable was the warmth, care and attention from Nicola, Jon, and the team. Everything ran so smoothly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. We feel so grateful to everyone involved in creating such a wonderful day for us. We would strongly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding celebration - it’s a special place run by such lovely people.
