Ayscoughfee Gardens

Enjoyed very much these free municipal amenities whilst munching a lunch after beating my brains in within the Fenland Studies room (see prior review).

The gardens, wowcher! Well maintained, great shapes on the tree's! Visited the well kept memorials and see some lively fish in the pond. Plenty of wildlife mooching about too. Worth a visit if your in Spalding, coffee shop there too

An amazing park with beautiful gardens, well kept and looked after. Friendly staff. An interesting time-capsule of a museum, bridging now with the past, and the towns history. Also a beautifuly kept place to commemorate those who have sacrificed their lives during the war, and gave us all a chance at a future we enjoy now. Lively aviary filled with little chirpers of various colors. A calming pond with fountains and fish at the centre of the gardens, surrounded by nicely shaped hedges and trees. A few big green fields to have a picnic, play with your pets, or just lay down and read a book. All in all - a calming, relaxing place to spend an afternoon alone, with friends, or family, and connect with the towns roots at the same time.

Splendid garden, very well maintained and preserved - the garden staff have really put in a lot of efforts... Beautiful flowers & melodious birds - look healthy & well looked after. Great place to sit & reflect or meditate. Will surely come here again & again.. also has a kids play area.

Very nice and well-kept garden. You can rest and relax among the trees and the singing of birds.

It's the first time my grandson came to see where his dad played when he was smaller... and enjoyed each moment!! Was so lovely to point out my great great uncle on the war dead ❤️
