The Sessions House

We chose this venue for our wedding having attended one of the 80s parties. The building is stunning and great vibe for a wedding with the decor and the historic architecture. Bjt we really enjoyed the party vibe in the evening. The venue gets completely transformed with the lights etc and a well stocked bar. We wanted to have a formal wedding with a ceremony etc so the setting was great. But honestly. Also for us was so important to have the party atmosphere so our friends and family could celebrate in style with us.

It was a very welcoming historic venue, dj, singer and venue was amazing. Canopies were very tasty and well presented. Surprise bacon bap and fries at midnight was welcomed! The smoke machine needs to be situated away from the tables and the venue needs to be a lot warmer. Shame there was only 49 tickets sold as it would have been an even better atmosphere if the room was filled…..,Maybe few fireworks at the midnight would have been a nice touch too. Certainly recommend to go to for other parties and weddings through the year. Hopefully it will get more recognised…..well done to all that organised it! Happy New Year!

It was my first time at Sessions house and wow what a impression it made and that was only the staircase , as you opened the door there was another door when we opened this we were in the impressive court room , it was another wow moment and I’d not been in a room like it before . The murder mystery evening was fun , we were all kept entertained all evening and totally felt immersed in the experience. The sharing player was plentiful with lots of choice . It’s definitely a venue we will be going back to , to try some of the other events they host , we have been told the afternoon tea is amazing quality and can’t wait to try it . An absolutely wonderful wedding day ❤️ A huge thank you to everyone at The Sessions House for sharing and planning our special day with us. We had an absolutely amazing time and really appreciated all the hard work, care and attention that went into making our wedding so wonderful. From the moment we started planning, we felt supported, and everything came together exactly as we had hoped. The feedback from all of our guests was fantastic — the venue, food and staff were absolutely fabulous. The afternoon tea on vintage china was exceptionally tasty and had been specifically customised for all of our guests dietary requirements. Everyone had such a wonderful time and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The Sessions House is such a beautiful and wonderfully unique venue. We particularly loved being able to take photographs throughout all of the different rooms, each of which provided such a special and memorable backdrop for our wedding photographs. And, of course, our two pugs had a very important job as ring bearers! 🐾❤️ They were made to feel incredibly welcome, which meant so much to us and made having them involved in our special day even more memorable. We are so grateful to everyone at The Sessions House for helping to make our wedding day everything we had dreamed of. It was a truly wonderful day that we, and our guests, will remember for a very long time. Thank you for helping us create such amazing memories — we couldn’t recommend The Sessions House highly enough! ❤️

👩‍⚖️☠️ The Jury: Social Deduction Experience / ‘The Traitors’ ☠️👨‍⚖️ 😊 A huuuuuge THANK YOU to every at The Sessions House in Spalding, for a truly spectacular and immersive night of fun and treachery! 👮‍♂️ From start to finish, you are, and in the company of other random wannabe ‘traitors’, immersed into a brilliant and theatrical version of Spalding’s - ‘The Traitors’! 🏛️ After visiting the ‘official’ Traitors in London, this by far was much more inclusive (when you are murdered or banished you still get to partake in the game, unlike in London) and the rooms in which you are in will totally take your breath away; it being an old Courthouse, the owners have renovated it to a truly exceptional standard and makes the game play much more ‘believable’. 🍷🍺 In addition to this, there is a bar (where snacks are provided free of charge) and you can order drinks to consume during the game - red wine always makes the game play more interesting 😂 🤫 I’m not going to say what the tasks were or what happened, as I feel it would ruin the experience when you book, but it was well thought out and executed perfectly! 👘 You even get to don a green cloak for the duration and your picture taken on a Polaroid. 🥷 We attended at a 7pm booking and were joined by others who thought they were going to take down the traitors; Janet and Debbie, Vanessa and Jason, Mandy and Dave, Elise and Becca, Vicky and myself. 🎟️ I would 100% recommend this ‘experience’; whether you are in a couple, throuple or group - I really hope you have as much fun as we did. ☺️ Thank you, again, to ‘The Judge’ and barman who guided us effortlessly throughout the night and for The Sessions House for hosting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 star rating from me! (Annoyingly my friend was one of the final traitors and won it, which I’m not bitter about…at all… 🙄😂)
