Sopwell House

We would normally wait until the end of our stay before posting a review, but after only being here for a few hours, we already cannot recommend Sopwell House enough! A special thank you to Natalie on reception and Devine at the bar for making our experience extra special. Your warm welcome and fantastic service have really stood out. The food, spa and facilities have all been amazing, and our room is incredibly comfortable. Every element of our stay so far has been wonderful, with such great attention to detail throughout. We would definitely recommend Sopwell House and are already looking forward to enjoying the rest of our stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the most wonderful stay here celebrating my 25th birthday. My check in with Holly was incredible, she is so friendly, chatty and such a lovely girl. She knew we were celebrating my birthday and she made it so special from beginning to end, as did everyone on the front desk. You can tell they really care about their guests. The spa was excellent. Destiny, Catalina, Rachel & Sophie were so welcoming and really helped the spa feel relaxing. We were also very lucky with the weather, it felt like being abroad! You can order drinks to your sun loungers and the selection is wonderful. The service was impeccable. We upgraded to one of the Mews Suites, and I am so glad we did because it was absolutely gorgeous. The housekeeping team really put their heart into cleaning the rooms and it shows. The whole room felt like luxury. Dining in the Brasserie was one of the best meals I have had in a while, breakfast was really nice and there is so much to choose from! At dinner, the slow cooked beef was so tasty. Amelia & Vincenzo were really professional and made the experience unforgettable! Thank you so much again for such a perfect stay, I will recommended this hotel to everyone!

Absolutely amazing spa. Facilities were outstanding. Location was beautiful. And they have some of the friendliest and most helpful staff... They can't do enough for you. One suggestion though...I think it would be really helpful if the front desk staff were given access to the spa facilities as one of their perks of the job. That way they could provide advise for guests based on first hand experience. Other than that... Highly recommended.

We just had the most wonderful stay at Sopwell House. All the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, from the front of house staff to the lovely lady in the spa , everyone made us feel so well looked after. The hotel manager was great after we made a mistake with our booking she managed to find us some available rooms and even gave us complimentary drinks. We were very grateful. I’m surprised that this hotel is not a 5 star as it has exceeded a lot of the 5 star hotels we have stayed in. It is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated.and the facilities and gardens are fantastic. I can’t wait to return to this lovely hotel !

We had an amazing time at a lovely afternoon tea with myself, my daughter, and my mum. The staff were all lovely and friendly, and the restaurant’s atmosphere was beautiful. We absolutely loved the setting and the vibe. We hadn’t been since the 2023 refurb, so it felt fresh and new to us. But the absolute highlight of our visit was the incredible Clara. She was so friendly, warm, and personable—she truly made our afternoon. She chatted with my mum so kindly and was so complimentary. She really made it for us!
