The County Club, St Albans

I recently hired the County Club as the venue for our party and it was fantastic. The size was perfect for us, we had 80 guests but could have easily got another 15-20 in there. Bar service was quick and prices are incredibly reasonable. Ahead of the event Terry was extremely helpful, and the team on the night were brilliant. All in a brilliant place to have a party, would highly recommend it.

We recently held a wedding celebration at the club. It went really well Terry (the manager) and his team couldn’t have been more helpful and relaxed. We were able to get plenty of access to the club for setting up and collecting things the next day. The recommended Dj was excellent and the bar bill (despite my friend’s best efforts) was very reasonable. Most important of all, all of our friends had a great time and were very complementary about the venue.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at The Country Club last weekend. The venue is right across the road from st Albans train station and, st Albans registry office. There is parking at the back of the venue as well. We had lovely weather so made use of the sun terrace. Terry and the team were so helpful. The food prepared and served to us was excellent. If we need a venue in the future or someone we know needs a venue, we would have no hesitation to use and reccomend the Country club. Once again, Thanks to the team for a fantastic evening.

Thank you so much to Terry for providing such an amazing service to myself and my wife on our wedding day. The reception we had at The County Club was absolutely amazing and all our close friends and family really enjoyed them selves. Great food and brilliant service and would highly recommend. Thanks Terry!!

Great venue to hold our reception.. Given access before to decorate/ store food, really felt like the club was ours on the night so everybody fully relaxed and used all facilities!

We recently had a joint birthday party at the County Club and really enjoyed the experience! The venue offers parking and is located just a 2-minute walk from St. Albans City station. We requested catering for 80 guests and hired a live band. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our party was a success. The live band was definitely a good decision. They played an excellent mix of music that got everyone on the dance floor and helped set the mood for the party. Throughout the night, the staff were friendly and professional, ensuring that all our needs were met. A special thanks to Terry, the manager: He helped make the planning process smooth and stress-free and was there to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night of the party. We highly recommend this venue for events in St. Albans and Hertfordshire.

We held our wedding reception here and it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much. The food was fantastic, they certainly don't scrimp. Thank you Terry and your staff for making it an amazing day xx
