Hired The Hop house at The George for a corporate Christmas party last night for just under 40 people and what a joy it was! From great service leading up to the day, booking, pre-order to the execution on a day - decorations, festive name cards, amazing food (we could choose the temperature of steaks before in the pre-order and they delivered perfectly!), good portions, deserts were incredible as well (especially dark chocolate and caramel tart!!!). It was a joy overall and we had a great party! It’s like a private room where you can use the speaker to put your music on and a screen, but get all the service and still you are one step from the pub.

The Hop House is a great venue for celebrations. I celebrated my 50th birthday and the food and atmosphere were excellent. Kam is super nice and she will make sure your needs are met to have a wonderful experience. I fully recommend The Hop House for your next gathering.

Huge thanks to Kam and team for all their help while we hosted a party at the Hop house. Food was great and everyone loved the venue!

Harry B ☆ 5/5

Really unresponsive to enquiries to hire the space out despite stating they have availability.

Food is ok if you are very hungry. Too much oil with the onion rings. The bar is fine.
