Cindy Cheung | Creative Consultant & Graphic Designer

I worked with Cindy on two campaigns for the fantastic When Alice Sleeps brand. The brand, which includes children's wear, greeting cards, activity books, picture books, and prints, is vibrant, fun, and accessible for parents and children. Cindy's creative flair shines through all the work; her industry know-how is second to none. The seasonal campaigns, The Flying Snowman Christmas Train and a Halloween Treasure Hunt, were a dream to work on. They were fun, vibrant, and bubbling over with wonder and humour. Writing copy for Cindy's characters was pure joy. Cindy's illustrations reach beyond generations, are incredibly unique, and glow with a quiet gentleness. Cindy has an easy ability to pivot, reacting quickly to design changes when needed. She provides a positive and supportive environment for creativity and productivity. She is excellent at communicating project requirements, but she is also very open and easy to collaborate with. Cindy is particularly skilled at the finer details that can often be overlooked. Her meticulous work ethic, combined with her invaluable skills in graphic design and illustration, makes her a joy to work with.

It’s so lovely to know how colouring and our activities and artwork are able to build resilience and focus in children. My boys do not normally do colouring but they lasted hours, so lovely! Plus parents can have some ‘me/us time too'. Can't wait for the next one.

Cindy is the nicest businesswoman I’ve ever worked with—patient, super talented, and incredibly sophisticated. Her knowledge in the field is unmatched, and I can’t speak highly enough of her. Being local was a significant advantage; we had a few video calls and even met up at a coffee shop for more in-depth explanations and guidance." I had no prior knowledge of the rebranding process, but Cindy went above and beyond to explain everything I needed to know. Thank you so much, Cindy. You are truly amazing! She is now my graphic designer I recommend her 150%.

I’m getting married next month and before finding Cindy, I’d had a nightmare trying to get my invites designed and printed. Cindy’s professionalism and knowledge and guidance was second to none. She just knows her stuff and has had years of experience. Her communication was super clear and she sends videos that explain everything. I’m so happy with the results. Thank you Cindy for everything! Please use Cindy - you’ll be in very safe hands.

What would I have done without Cindy?! I had spoken to various print shops and no one seemed to have the time to help. The world of paper options/texture/layout etc was far too much for me. I didn't know where to start. Enter Cindy. Cindy is a delight to work with! She listens to your needs but is also creative and happy to give input on what she thinks would work well. She sent us samples and a mock version for us to approve and she turned our wedding invites into something very special! Something I definitely couldn't have created/envisioned myself! She also helped us with our menus and various other ideas. She is kind and very quick to reply. She solved all my wedding stationary needs. I would without a doubt recommend her to anyone. She is joy!
