West Usk Lighthouse

Our stay at the lighthouse keepers cottage was brilliant! We were blessed with the weather, and this just added to the whole atmosphere of the location. We spent our time walking the coast line, watching the birds and catching the tide come and go whilst relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin itself was super comfy and cozy, especially the 4 poster bed. Frank was very polite and showed us everything we needed for our stay, but then gave us all the time and space we needed. If you need some time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then this place is absolutely perfect. Dog friendly and with the added blessing of their lighthouse dog, Archie.

I had the pleasure of photographing at West Usk Lighthouse and it’s truly one of the most unique wedding venues in South Wales. The lighthouse itself, the beautiful views over the Severn Estuary, and the cosy, intimate atmosphere make it an incredible setting for memorable photographs. What I love most about this venue is how many natural photo opportunities it offers—from the outdoor spaces with stunning scenery to the charming interior details that add so much character to every image. If you’re planning a wedding or special event at West Usk Lighthouse and want photography that captures the atmosphere and uniqueness of the venue, I’d love to help document your day.

Absolutely amazing hosts Frank and Danielle. Beàutiful unique lighthouse property, with amazing views and fabulous calming energy. Highly recommended. Cannot wait to come back 🙂
