The Old Chapel Centre

The old chapel centre is a beautiful space to hire out. It has so much charm and a wonderful walled garden which we used for a BBQ event. I’d really recommend it and excellent value.

I use the Chapel regularly as a refreshment stop for runners during my events along the South Downs Way. It is a beautiful building in a beautiful location and is well equipped with everything we need. Sarah, Liz and the team are always lovely and easy to work with and make sure we have a successful and enjoyable experience every time. The pricing is very reasonable, along with very accommodating opening hours. The Chapel has become a frequent of ours two or three times a year now and we will of course keep coming back. Highly recommended for events and many other things Im sure.

We stayed here overnight with 2 kids while doing part of the Old Way route. The village is very pretty and the Old Chapel Centre was warm and a lovely spot for us to rest for night- a bit like indoor camping and the kids thought it was great fun.

Our family hired the OCC for a wedding ceremony for 80 guests last weekend. From the moment of booking, the OCC committee were attentive and supportive, helping organise the minister and organist, and access to the venue for our disabled family members. The venue is easy to heat, and the hire charge included time to set out the seats and decorate as needed, and then sufficient take down time the next morning. Couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Thank you.
