Went there for a birthday celebration. Wine tasting session was very informative and the guide was friendly, entertaining and had lots of knowledge. Also had the 2 course lunch menu and I can't fault the food. It was a perfect summers day and beautiful views.

It’s a lovely place, a wonderful setting and gorgeous rooms. However, if you’re vegetarian or vegan I would recommend eating elsewhere as the meat-free options are extremely limited and the worst value for money I’ve ever experienced whilst eating out. We went for Sunday lunch and paid £25 for an extremely small portion of roasted tomato risotto (the only vegan starter was also roasted tomato based) or the same for what I can only describe as an inferior and smaller version of a Gregg’s pasty. Even the waiter was embarrassed at the offering!
