Al and Wayne did an incredible job during my wedding this week, they made us feel relaxed and cared for and the building is beautiful inside and out, we had a wonderful experience. Sarah was also incredibly helpful during our serving notice and went above and beyond for us. The only thing I’d warn people about is a lack of time outside afterwards to take pictures by the stairs if they have another wedding after yours as we weren’t able to take as many pictures as we would’ve liked to. I’d suggest finding a second location for pics if you’re wanting to take a few!

Fantastic place for someone to get married. Our Grandson Luc Penn & Kelly's wedding on 8-5-2021 during the lockdown. Unfortunately mu husband William & I were unable to attend due to COVID restrictions. Our daughter Sonia Michelle ( Luc's mum in yellow ) was a witness on their wedding certificate, along with the bride's mum, which was the first ceremony in 20 yrs the registrar had come across this. Lovely surroundings, nice Romeo & Juliet balcony for photos. Registrar was fantastic. They all had to wear face masks during the ceremony. Would highly recommend 5 * for the service during a difficult period during lockdown.

As a local wedding photographer I know the Guildhall extremely well, I've photographed many weddings there. I think it is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area and is comparible to venues 10 times the cost. A large capacity for guests and the surrounding area is full of picture perfect cobbled streets and tudor buildings in Old Town Poole not forgetting the short walk to the quay. The Registry team are super friendly and there are some that are genuinely funny. You will get the wedding you will never forget here for sure.

A stunning venue. Visited recently for a friend's wedding and I was taken back by the hall. A really historic building and the curved stairs are a very nice touch.

Our Grandson Luc and his wife Kelly got married here in May 2021 during the covid regulations. Due to travel restriction's my wife and myself were unable to attend his wedding, as we live on Corfu. We were given a copy of the wedding, as they had a videographer film it, so family that were unable to attend didn't miss their special day. The registrar said in the 20 year's she had been a registrar, it was the first time that she had married a legal name change that was changed through the courts, and the first time that the bride & groom's mother's were able to be legal witnesses. Although only a few people were able to attend, the service was a warm friendly atmosphere with a sense of humor. The room where they were married was lovely with a little Romeo and Juliet balcony which over looks the High Street. 5 year's later the registrar who witnessed their marriage certificate was the person who registered their new born baby in March 2026. Great place to get married, disappointed were unable to attend.

We got married on Tuesday, and was given a fabulous ceremony by Dave, he put us at ease and gave a humorous and personal service that made everyone laugh, Well done.
