Lanelay Hall Hotel and Spa

Great place. Stunning inside. Service is excellent. Had the berry mocktail, a great sweet refreshing drink. The price was great as it was £40 for three courses on the lunch menu. We went for 1 o’clock so it wasn’t so busy. Would reccomend going this time! The mackerel on the coals starter was so delicious, I never knew apple goes so well with fish! We had an enjoyable time for my brother’s 24th today. We would definitely come again and also give the spa ago! The location is nice, situated in a nice new housing estate, only thing is the parking area is a little small but again I think we benefitted from going in the afternoon as we had secured two spots. Music was a good vibe as it was upbeat and good energy.

Amazing hotel. Lovely rooms with large beds. Shower was incredible. Lunch and dinner was exceptional. The breakfast could have been a little bit better but everything else made up for it. Would highly recommend.

Where do I start!!! This hotel is absolutely fantastic. As soon as you walk through the gates you know you're entering something special. The room we have was superb and very spacious. We visited the on site restaurant, Blok which was one of the best steak experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back very soon.

Attended yesterday for a spa day, we had the tribe package which included brunch & spa access. The staff are so so lovely, the massage was quite poor in comparison to other spa’s but overall, really enjoyed the experience. I booked the spa package, overnight stay and a reservation at their restaurant Blok, 4.5 months ago. Due to the rooms not having air con and previous reviews (pre heat wave) advising the rooms are hot, we booked a room at Llanerch Vinyehard, which isn’t too far away. The brunch was lovely and in the late evening, returned for our dinner reservation - we were told my name was not on the booking list, despite booking and organising this months in advance as well as speaking to staff via the phone who specifically rang me to confirm I still wanted my dinner reservation after cancelling the overnight stay - to which I said yes …. hence me receiving another confirmation email for my confirmed booking. Should it have been more than 2 people on the booking or an earlier time, It would have been interesting to see how they managed their error? Anyways. The food was stunning, steak was better than pasture and we cannot wait to return. 1 star lost due to dinner reservation situation and also because not 1 person at any point, mentioned how I was there for my birthday, despite it being on every reservation of mine plus mentioning it the staff member who called me twice, about my booking. Really disappointing that this isn’t highlighted when both me and my partner spent just shy of £500 for the spa package, dinner & drinks whilst there. I made a last minute reservation at Llanerch Vineyard and was greeted with a birthday card, Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco. I didn’t even have to mention it was my birthday as the receptionist noted this from my date of birth and delayed my check in by 10 minutes for staff to pop the card/prosecco in my room. It goes a long way and really makes the customers day when celebrations are acknowledged.
