Natalie and team did an astounding job. Attention to detail was amazing. Throughout the night asked if ok. Barstaff amazing was 80th birthday could not recommend them highly enough

Great for a 50th party we went to. Although I wish the gin came in big coppa glasses rather than tall glasses. But that's my own preference

Booked my joint wedding reception and 30th birthday in the hall here and Nick and the team were amazing! From helping me organise from the states and having random friends and family members having to call with me to helping decorate the hall, offering amazing service all night and sorting all out stuff to be collected the next day. I can't recommend this place enough! Thank you guys!

Here for a bit of a ‘do’. The function room was as you would expect from this kind of club. Neat and tidy and well decorated for the event but I don’t know if that was down to our hosts or the venue. Bar prices were amazing. It needs a bit of spit and polish but then isn’t that part of the charm of these old clubs? The staff were lovely and I really liked the book swap near the entrance.

Awesome little hidden gem. Really nice food, fantastic staff and a wonderful atmosphere. It's a great place for a lighter bite and a full meal if you fancy. They also do loads of nice cakes and hot drinks if you want something a bit sweeter. You can see the boats moored up outside and it really adds to the experience.

A friendly place for the whole family Love visiting the Club when I can. Great bunch of members, and always give new and old visitors a nice, friendly welcome. The choice of beer is good, and the prices are from another time (alcohol prices are very, very reasonable). Great place to watch the sport, with all the big football / rugby games shown. The club itself, having recently undergone some sprucing-up, is a great place to relax, enjoy a beer, maybe catch some sport, and get to know the friendly bunch of locals / members. Finally, what makes a place are the staff, and here they’re fab - polite and friendly.
